Templates License

Every template published on Sheetorial — the .xlsx files you download here, in any language edition — is free to use under the terms on this page. The terms are short on purpose.

What you can do

  • Use the templates for anything, personal or commercial: your household budget, your company's invoices, spreadsheets you fill in for client work. No payment, no registration, no usage limits.
  • Modify them freely. Change the categories, delete tabs, rewrite the formulas, restyle everything. The filled-in spreadsheet you produce with a template is entirely yours.
  • Share a template privately — sending the file to your team, your family or a client as part of working together is normal use, not redistribution.
  • Skip the credit. Attribution is appreciated and helps other people find the templates, but it is never required.

What you cannot do

  • Do not redistribute or resell the template files as your own. Uploading our files — unchanged or trivially restyled — to your own template site, marketplace listing or paid bundle is the one use that is not allowed. If you want to point people to a template, link to its page on sheetorial.com rather than re-hosting the file.
  • Do not use the templates for unlawful purposes or in content that is defamatory, obscene or discriminatory.
  • The Sheetorial name and the site's own content are not part of the deal. This license covers the template files; the articles, screenshots and branding of the website remain ours.

No affiliation with Google or Microsoft

Sheetorial is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with Google LLC or Microsoft Corporation. Google Sheets is a trademark of Google LLC; Microsoft Excel is a trademark of Microsoft Corporation. The official Google website is www.google.com.

No warranty

The templates are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Each file is checked before publication, but you are responsible for how you use it and for the figures you produce with it: Sheetorial accepts no liability for damages, losses or other consequences arising from the use of a template. Spreadsheets compute what they are told — review formulas before relying on the results for anything important.
